Studios C & D

Recording Workshop Studio CRecW Studios A & B may get most of the glory as our premier tracking/mixing rooms, but Studio C has long been a great tracking/mixing room too ... and Studio D is it’s own little slice of mixing heaven.

Studios C & D are now even better, we have installed Digidesign Pro Tools HD3 systems partnered with Control 24 consoles in each of the rooms. Of course a huge selection of plug-ins including the Sony Oxford EQ, Massenburg EQ,TL Space Reverb and many others are also a part of this powerful combination.

Our students create in all of the RecW studios, but Studios C & D now stand apart as pure “new-school” audio production environments that totally embrace the workflow benefits of an integrated system. These rooms are among student’s favorites at RecW.

Studio D control room is primarily a mixing room. Here our students can choose songs from our vast archive of original multi-track material we call MotherLoad. By utilizing the MotherLoad archive, students can select songs from all genres giving them plenty of diverse material that helps them create an attractive demo CD for potential employers or future clients.Recording Workshop Studio D

The studio portion of Studio D is a rehearsal space reserved for students who want to participate in recording their own material. All students will be involved in the tracking and mixing of student projects, but performing in a project is an individual choice.
