The Recording Workshop experience is one that lasts a lifetime. As we begin a new year, this tradition continues. We are pleased to announce the arrival of Digidesign’s ICON D-Command newly installed in Studio E. Pro Tools continues to dominate the landscape of professional recording, and the latest evolution of high-end control surfaces that our graduates will likely use in the workforce is Digidesign’s ICON Series. This powerful user interface is an elegant transition from the mouse-driven world of desktop recording to the professional audio engineer/music producer that demands the full-throttle performance of Pro Tools and complete control of their mix.

Another timely RecW upgrade for all of our studios and lab is the jump to Pro Tools 7.4. The Big News with Pro Tools 7.4 is the inclusion of Elastic Audio. Yet another revolutionary step forward for Pro Tools, Elastic Audio allows today’s audio professionals unprecendented manipulation of creating loops, fixing vocals, correcting the timing of tracks without affecting pitch and more.

We have reached new levels with our capability to produce and sequence music in Studios G & H. Thanks to the reinvented Propellerhead Reason 4.0, it's new sequencer, groove tool, arpeggiator, and synth are inspiring and effective.
